YDA Holding

Turkestan International Airport is the first air harbor of the Republic of Kazakhstan, built over the years of the country's independence. The construction of the airport began in 2019 by the Turkish company YDA Holding and was completed in record time. The airport is located 16 km from the center of Turkestan in the village of Shaga. The technical opening took place in September 2020 with the participation of the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev. The first flight on the Nur-Sultan - Turkestan route was carried out on December 1, 2020 by FlyArystan. The project cost is about 200 million US dollars. Over 150 jobs were created within the project.
